  • You're Invited: UConn Language Festival 2016

    The Cognitive Science Program,The Connecticut Institute for the Brain and Cognitive Sciences and the IGERT program on Language Plasticity are pleased to announce that the sixth annual University of Connecticut Language Fest will be held on Saturday, April 16th, from 9AM--4PM in Oak Hall Room 101 at the Storrs Campus.  
    The UConn Language Fest is a University-wide research conference, now in its sixth year, which showcases the many facets of research on language in the UConn community. Each year, theLanguage Fest draws participation across many departments and programs, including Psychology, Education, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, Linguistics, Literatures, Cultures and Languages, and Haskins Laboratories. All are welcome to attend: please save the date!

    8:45: Coffee & Poster Setup

    9:15–12:00: Special Panel: “Neurobiology of Language: A Look Forward” Panellists Sheila Blumstein, Dianne Newbury, BJ Casey, Simon Fisher, and Annette Karmiloff Smith.
