  • 4/6 The Guerrilla Girls - Live and In Person

Don't miss THE GUERRILLA GIRLS GIG!
presented in conjunction with the Benton's new exhibition GUERRILLA GIRLS: ART, ACTIVISM, AND THE "F" WORD
Wednesday, April 6, from 5 to 6:30 pm
    Admission is free!

This special Guerrilla Girls Gig is guaranteed to be a memorable and thought-provoking discussion of art, culture, politics — and the F word: Feminism!

Since 1985, the Guerrilla Girls have been stirring up audiences with their posters, presentations, and workshops that expose sexism and racism in politics, the art world, film, and the culture in general. These anonymous art activist females take the names of dead women artists as pseudonyms and appear wearing gorilla masks. With heavy doses of humor, they convey stunning information, provoke lively discussion, and show that feminists can be funny.

Their performance will take the audience through their history, what inspires their activism, and the many creative ways they convey their message.

Come meet the Guerrilla Girls LIVE! AND IN PERSON! — and bring your questions!
