The UConn Police Department and the Department of Human Resources will be sponsoring an Active Threat training program
March 8, 10am-noon, Storrs campus, Student Union Room 304A.
The “Active Threat” program is designed to give faculty, staff and students a reference on how to respond to an active shooter at UConn. The two hour presentation provides an introduction to the UConn Police Department as well as information on 911 and the University Alert Notification System. The training includes an instructional video which provides realistic strategies on how to react to an active shooter incident.
To attend this event, ensure that you obtain all appropriate authorizations from your supervisor(s) and register now at prodev.uconn.edu.
