The UConn Indian Students Association proudly presents our first social justice event, "UConn Goes Gulabi". THis event is the first of its kind with ISA, and this year's theme is to spread awareness on the topic of Women's Empowerment. Inspired by an organization of women in India who are known as the "Gulabi Gang". Gulabi means rose colored in Hindi and represents an initiative to empower women.
