  • 10/15 Financial Conflict Of Interest Disclosures

On Thursday, October 15, 2015, the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) will be implementing new policies and procedures regarding financial interest disclosures.  All Significant Financial Interest (SFI) disclosures will now be submitted electronically within InfoEd’s External Interests module (www.infoed.uconn.edu).  Benefits of disclosing electronically include: the ability to fulfill your training and disclosure requirements quickly – on campus, at home, or while traveling; the ease of carrying forward information from a prior disclosure; minimizing project approval delays by having a disclosure on file; and receiving notifications when an annual update is required.

We strongly encourage you to submit your electronic disclosure as soon as possible, as paper forms will no longer be accepted after November 15, 2015.  A disclosure will only need to be completed once a year, unless there is a change in your SFI status.

Trainings are scheduled throughout October and November.  More information regarding dates and times will be forthcoming.

For more information, contact: Kim O’Connor in the Office of the Vice President for Research at 860-486-3994 or fcoi@uconn.edu.
