The Confocal Microscopy Facility within the Biotechnology-Bioservices Center will be holding an inaugural workshop to introduce faculty to services available through the Center. Researchers with an interest in advanced light microscopy from all departments are welcome to attend. The workshop will take place in two sessions on separate days:
- Session 1, Friday, October 16th, 3-5 PM, TLS 111
This session will include an overview of the facility, its services, and the equipment provided by Dr. O'Connell. Following this, researchers are invited to give short, 3 min. presentations about their microscopy work.
- Session 2, Thursday, October 22nd, 1-5PM, BPB G10 and 302B
This is the “hands-on” portion of the workshop. Representatives from Leica Microsystems, Nikon Instruments, and facility staff will work with participants on several of the microscopes.
