Route 195 Water Pipeline Construction Update – Paving
The Connecticut Water Company continues construction on the 5-mile water pipeline along Route 195 between Tolland and Storrs/Mansfield. Beginning as early as Thursday, October 8, 2015, Connecticut Water will begin final paving of the trench on Route 195 where the water main was recently installed. The paving will start in the area north of the Route 44 intersection (Four Corners) and will eventually cover the entire stretch from St. Paul’s Church to Mansfield Supply. A final plan for paving Route 195 is being developed with the Connecticut D.O.T.
Paving will require lane closures from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
