  • 10/10 Free trip to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum

    Join UConn Native American Cultural Programs for a trip to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center for a guided tour and an educational program called "Witness to a Genocide: A Social Justice Approach." 

    Transportation to/from campus, museum admission, a guided tour, and an educational program will be provided (free) for 10 UConn students. UConn students have the option to purchase lunch at the Pequot Cafe or items at The Trading Post Gift Shop following the tour and educational program. 

    Students who are interested in attending this trip should email nacp@uconn.edu with their name and email address. 

    About the Museum: Tribally owned-and-operated since it opened on Aug. 11, 1998. the Museum brings to life the story of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. It serves as a major resource on the histories and cultures of Native Americans in the northeast and on the region's rich natural history.
