  • Reading & Speech Study: Participants Wanted

We are looking for native English speakers (ages 18-35) with or without dyslexia and reading difficulties to participate in a new research study at UConn Storrs. To be considered a native English speaker for this study, you must have lived with an adult since childhood who is a monolingual native English speaker.

This study is designed to investigate the behavioral basis of reading and reading impairments in adults. We hope that the results will help us to better understand disorders of reading and benefit people with reading disorders in the future.

As part of our study, we conducted a brief assessment of reading and related skills with you. The following brief report includes a description of the assessment battery that you completed and the scores you earned. It is essential to note that these results are intended for research purposes only, and are not intended for diagnostic purposes. Compensation is $10 per hour for those who are not earning course credit.
