Alas. TODAY is the last of the Benton's popular SUMMER DRAWING SESSIONS, NOON to 2 pm. We've enjoyed hosting these weekly events and we hope you have had fun exploring your creative side. If you haven't been to one yet, how about coming to the finale?
SELF-PORTRAITS WITH A TWIST is the theme this week. For those of you who are museum regulars, it's likely you have a favorite work of art, and here's your chance to be a part of it. Use this time to draw yourself into the piece, either replacing the central figure or hiding yourself somewhere in the image.
Come by yourself or bring friends with you. Use our drawing supplies or bring your own.
And while you're here, check out the exhibitions Speak Up! Speak Out! Bread & Puppet Theater, Remembering the Vietnam War, and The Best of the Benton.
