  • Important Financial Aid Updates

The following processes may impact financial aid awards for certain students:

2015-2016 Annual Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Review

Annually, the Office of Student Financial Aid Services is required to evaluate all students for compliance with the University SAP policy. As such, evaluations for all students will take place on May 18, 2015.  Students who do not meet the parameters outlined in the SAP policy may be subject to cancellation of their 2015-2016 financial aid packages as a result of this evaluation. Students with financial aid awards for the summer 2015 term may also have undisbursed awards adjusted or cancelled as a result of the SAP evaluation.  Students have the option to appeal. The appeal deadline is June 2, 2015.

    Spring 2015 Academic Engagement Review

Every semester, the Office of Student Financial Aid Services is required to evaluate all federal financial aid recipients to confirm that they completed credits for which they received funds. This evaluation of Academic Engagement will take place on May 18, 2015. Students who were not academically engaged in a semester for which they received federal financial aid risk having aid cancelled and/or reduced. Students have the option to appeal.  The appeal deadline is June 2, 2015.
