AIM is helping to support the medical treatment expenses of children with leukemia in Turkey. We represent a non-profit organization, LOSEV, which provides health care services along with educational and moral support to the children and their families. LOSEV’s new oncology hospital has been built due to donations collected in the past year. However, there are more children who hope for helpful hands. We believe that we can touch their lives all the way from UConn.
We will be selling SeraiJewels that offers handmade semi-precious jewelry inspired by the ancient civilizations of Anatolia including ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman Empires along with modern Turkish touches. We will also hold LOSEV’s hand-made ceramic bookmarks, magnets and lapel pins which are made by the mother of children with leukemia.
