  • 3/16 InfoEd Human Subjects Module Training in March

The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) is transitioning to using InfoEd as a complete online Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol application submission process. This includes new electronic IRB application forms and submission procedures that will be implemented over the next semester. Researchers are invited to join the OVPR Research Compliance Services on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 10:00-11:30 AM in the Homer Babbidge Library Electronic Classroom 1 (EC-1) to learn about enhancements and changes to the way principal investigators are able to submit IRB applications. The hands-on, computer training session will provide an overview of the InfoEd New Portal and explore the Human Subjects Module including finding an existing IRB protocol within the InfoEd system and preparing and submitting an initial IRB application.

Space is limited to 20 participants. Please register for the training session at prodev.uconn.edu (NetID login required). If you cannot attend this session, additional sessions are planned for the following dates and times:

    • April 8, 2015, 1:00 – 2:30 PM
    • May 4, 2015, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
