  • 3/24 Scholars Day Ceremony - Student Accommodations

Sent on behalf of the Office of the Provost:

The 22nd Annual Scholars Day Ceremony at the University of Connecticut will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, 4:00 p.m. at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts. This ceremony showcases the academic accomplishments of distinguished undergraduate students, honoring Babbidge Scholars who earned a semester grade point average of 4.0 for both the spring and fall semesters of the 2014 calendar year and New England Scholars who earned a semester grade point average of at least 3.7 for the spring and fall semesters of the 2014 calendar year.

In order to fully take part in the ceremony, students may ask to leave class early or seek permission to arrive late for class. Instructors are encouraged to make reasonable accommodations in response to student requests to complete work missed as a result of attendance at the Scholar's Day Ceremony. Please support these high achieving students.

The entire UConn community is invited to join Provost Choi in congratulating our students on their outstanding academic achievements. Please find your event invitationhere. For more information, you may visit the Scholars Day website http://honors.uconn.edu/community/ceremonies/scholars-day/.
