UConn has been selected as an official viewing location for a webcast of the 2015 Tedx Manhattan conference "Changing the Way We Eat." The viewing will take place in Konover Auditorium, the Dodd Center, on Saturday, March 7th from 10.30 am-6.30 pm. The featured speakers include farmers, activists, chefs, and artists. Topics to be addressed include: the necessity of women farmers in the food movement; how small changes in your eating can make huge differences; food as medicine; US law and small farmers; what we need to end hunger. Attendees should feel free to come and go students, faculty, staff, and the general public are welcome to drop in to Konover to share in the experience at any time during the day.
