The UConn Microfinance Brigade is collecting school supplies and donations to purchase supplies for underserved Honduran children between the ages of 6 and 16. UConn's Microfinance Brigade will be traveling to Honduras during spring break of 2015 to provide loans and education workshops to improve financial literacy. The school within the community we will be visiting lacks adequate supplies to properly educate all seventy-nine children currently enrolled. The children are split among three classrooms, none of which have electricity.
Help these children by dropping off school supplies or donations to purchase supplies at the North Entrance of the library between 12:30 and 3pm on Monday, March 9th or Wednesday, March 11th.
