  • Enrolling Participants - fMRI Memory and Learning

A STUDY ON MEMORY AND JUDGMENTS OF LEARNING

Adults ages 18 – 60, with NO history of neurological disorders, are needed for a studyinvestigating the relationship between your memory and your judgments about your memory. You do not need to have a “good memory” to participate. If you speak, read and write in English with native fluency, you may be eligible to participate.

What you will do in the study:

You will be asked to remember word-pairs, make judgments about how well you think you learned them, and be tested on them. The study will use functional magnetic resonance imaging. It will take about 120 minutes and you will receive up to $20 for completing the study. In order to participate, individuals will need to be able to travel to the Institute of Living, Hartford Hospital.
