UConn S.H.A.P.E. (Students Helping to Achieve Positive Esteem) is hosting a special interactive talk as part of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week titled "Do These Norms Make Me Look Fat?". Join S.H.A.P.E. listen to Ali Hougnou from Project Heal discuss the prevalence of eating disorders and negative body image on college campuses as well as her own personal battles with obesity and anorexia nervosa. The talk will start at 6:00p.m. in the Student Union Theatre on Monday, February 23rd and will end at 7:00p.m. All are welcome to join and participants will be eligible to enter a raffle of Project Heal merchandise.
S.H.A.P.E. will also be accepting donations for the National Eating Disorder Association.
