  • UConn IDEA Grant Online Application Now Open

    The UConn IDEA Grant program is now accepting applications for academic year funding. Awards of up to $4000 per student are available through the program to support innovative, creative and original projects designed by UConn undergraduates, including research projects, entrepreneurial ventures, community service initiatives, and creative endeavors.

    Undergraduates in all majors at all UConn campuses can apply. Applications are accepted from individuals and from small groups of students who plan to work collaboratively on a project.

    The application deadline for academic year funding is Monday, March 16, 2015.

    Serve as a UConn IDEA Grant Faculty Reviewer

    The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking faculty to serve as ad hoc reviewers for the UConn IDEA Grant program.  

    Ad hoc reviewers will be asked to assess the strengths and weaknesses of applications related to their areas of expertise using a detailed scoring rubric. Reviewers will not need to attend a committee meeting, nor will they be asked to review more than two applications in any application cycle.
