  • Today - Learn about Summer Abroad in Guatemala

    Do you know students who want to engage in an unique opportunity to create impact and be a changemaker? 

    They can spend 8 weeks earning 9 credits this summer in Guatemala!

    Information Session TODAY at 12:20 in Class of 1947 Room - Babbage Library.

    Students will start their experience by building the necessary foundation. They will live with home stays. They will learn Spanish. They will study and will be asked to think critically about aid strategies and social entrepreneurship models. And they will learn and apply the technical skills and tools they will need for their time working with the Social Entrepreneur Corps team in communities. 

    With their knowledge, experience, skills and ongoing support of the globally recognized Social Entrepreneur Corps  leadership students will work to empower marginalized individuals, families and communities in Guatemala

    Over the course of this eight-week internship experience students will travel to different field sites including Nebaj, Huehuetenango, Xela, Sololá, and will engage with local communities, entrepreneurs, small businesses and will make an impact with proven social innovations as they empower others to build a better future for themselves.
