  • 12/4 Fall Puppet Forum with Winnie Lambrecht

    As part of the Ballard Institute's Fall Puppet Forum Series, Anthropologist and Rhode Island School of Design professor Winnie Lambrecht premieres her new film at the Ballard Institute on Thursday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m. Puppetry and Politics in 1939: The Vagabond Puppeteers explores political puppet theater among dairy farmers in upstate New York during the 1930s.  

    Admission to this event is free (donations greatly appreciated!), and refreshments will be served. Come early and experience the puppet exhibitions, as well as the video resources in our library nook. To learn more, visit bimp.uconn.edu.
