  • Help the Young and Vulnerable by Giving to CSEC

These include various adoption charities, such as Catholic Charities (6504), Adoptable Children (8170), Adoption Center of Washington (7833), Adoptions by Cradle of Hope (7965), Buckner Children & Family Services (7880), Pearl S. Buck International (7892); Big Brothers Big Sisters in various parts of the state, including Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sister in Hartford (5006); the Charitable Children’s Fund of America (7883); Child Slavery, Trafficking and Forced Labor Rescue (7758); Connecticut Youth Leadership Project (8922) for youth with disabilities; Kids-In-Crisis (4707) emergency shelter; Save the Children (8227); UNICEF (8230); the YMCA in various parts of the state, including Greater Hartford (5113); and more.

You can find these and a wide range of other charities listed in the CSEC directory online. To find a specific charity of your choice in the online directory, open the pdf, hit the ctrl key and ‘F’ on your keyboard, type the charity you are searching for in the search box, click the down arrow next to your search, and select “Find or Open.”

Please send your completed pledge form to Paula Enderle, UConn-Storrs Coordinator of the 2014 Connecticut State Employees’ Campaign, at U-5075, or by fax to 860-486-0379. You can also scan it and send via email to csec@uconn.edu.

Together, we can make a difference. Please give generously.

All faculty and staff who submit a signed pledge form will be entered into a drawing. In this week’s drawing:

    • One-month Area 1 parking pass.

The drawing will be closed on Dec. 10, and the winner will be notified directly.

The winners of the drawing announced on Nov. 12 were:
