Research, Funding, and Awards

  • 11/5 Workshop: Use Pivot to Locate Grant Funding

Pivot is the most comprehensive search engine for grants in all disciplines - with 29,000 funding opportunities worth an estimated $33 billion. Pivot makes it easy to search for grants in your research area, and to establish funding alerts which automatically let you know when new funding opportunities in your field become available. Pivot:

    •  includes research, travel, and postdoctoral funding opportunities, available through federal, state, corporate, non-profit, and foundation sponsors
    • has funding opportunities for faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars
    •  contains Scholar Profiles for every UConn faculty member - to match researchers with appropriate grants, and to help identify potential research collaborators across schools and campuses

A hands-on workshops will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 12-12:45 in Homer Babbidge Library. To register go to: http://workshops.lib.uconn.edu/
