  • Faculty Referrals Carnegie Junior Fellow nominees

The Office of National Scholarships & Fellowships is seeking faculty recommendations for qualified candidates for the

Carnegie Endowment for International Peace – Junior Fellows Program

Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is a unique global network of policy research centers in Russia, China, Europe, the Middle East and the United States. Our mission, dating back more than a century, is to advance the cause of peace through analysis and development of fresh policy ideas and direct engagement and collaboration with decision-makers in government, business and civil society.

The Junior Fellows Program at the Carnegie Endowment is designed to provide a substantive work experience for students who have a serious career interest in the area of international affairs.  Junior Fellows provide research assistance to scholars working on Carnegie Endowment's projects: nuclear policy, democracy building, energy and climate issues, Middle East studies, Asia politics and economics, South Asian politics, Southeast Asian politics, Japan studies, and Russian and Eurasian affairs. Junior Fellows have the opportunity to conduct research, participate in meetings with high-level officials, contribute to congressional testimony and organize briefings attended by scholars, activists, journalists and government officials.

Applications are accepted only from graduating college seniors or individuals who have graduated within the past academic year. Applicants must be nominated by an official of their university.  Access the CJF pre-application here.

    Carnegie Pre-Application Deadline is Monday, November 17, 2014 @ 9:00 a.m.
