Additional UConn Information

  • Action Required: Does your webpage include costs

As a result of the FAFSA Simplification Act passed by Congress on December 27, 2020, institutions are required to make Cost of Attendance (COA) information available on any portion of their website that describes tuition and fees. Any webpage that provides information about tuition and/or program fees must include the statement provided in italics below.

The total Cost of Attendance (COA) includes direct educational costs (i.e., tuition, fees, housing, and food) and indirect costs.  Indirect costs include books, course materials, supplies and equipment, transportation, miscellaneous personal expenses, loan fees, and professional licensure or certification, if applicable.  For additional information about the Cost of Attendance at UConn, please visit https://financialaid.uconn.edu/cost/.

By displaying this information on your webpage that includes tuition and/or program fees, the University will meet the expanded consumer information requirements under the act.
