The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has opened recruiting for its seasonal workforce, offering a wide range of positions for which UConn students and other interested people are encouraged to apply.
DEEP seasonal positions are a great introduction to working at the agency and building a potential career in environmental work, and may be of particular interest to UConn students exploring those career paths.
The jobs include many exciting entry-level roles in some of the state’s most beautiful locations. The duties could entail helping conserve and maintain Connecticut’s state parks and forests, keeping its beaches safe, or working in various hands-on positions in boating, wildlife, fisheries and marine life, water monitoring, and more.
