Information Technology Services (ITS) is retiring FileLocker because the secure file sharing service will no longer be supported in the next calendar year.
Below are key dates for the transition:
- On Tuesday, January 3rd, you will no longer be able to upload new files. Files sent before this date can be downloaded by their recipients during the standard 30-day window.
- On Thursday, February 2nd, FileLocker will no longer be available. Files cannot be uploaded or downloaded.
You should switch to Microsoft OneDrive for sharing and requesting files. OneDrive offers the functionality provided by FileLocker but is more secure, robustly delivered, and integrates with other Microsoft 365 applications.
