  • Grow Your Own Way: Registration Open

Introducing Grow Your Own Way: A Sustainability Gardening Series for UConn Faculty & Staff

Grow Your Own Way is a year-long educational series for full-time, UConn faculty & staff, where a cohort of UConn employees will learn about gardening from soil to pests and sustainability from harvest to table.  Each month, a themed lesson will be provided in-person or virtually by University experts or experts from our community partners.  This pilot program allows the cohort of employees to learn and develop throughout the yearly cycle from germination to harvest.

While most sessions will be held in the evenings from 5:30pm – 7pm, employees will have to use their accrued time to attend monthly sessions if it falls during their scheduled working hours of the University. Virtual lessons will be recorded for viewing at the employee’s convenience.
