Mark your calendars! As part of Indigneous Peopels Week 2022, please join us for a discussion on "The History of Indigenous Community at UConn: Where We Have Been and Where We Are Going," on Thursday, October 13th at 5:00pm in Student Union room 103.
Facilitated by the Native American and Indigenous Students Association, this event will include a presentation on the history of our Indigenous community at UConn. This event will feature speakers such as Chris Newell (Passamaquoddy), Samantha Gove (Mashantucket Pequot), and Sage Phillips (Penobscot). Attendees will learn the origin stories of the Native American Cultural Programs, the Native American and Indigenous Students Association, and how our efforts continue to grow!
