  • 9/22 Unconscious Biases Training

    September 22, 2022, 12-1pm on Microsoft Teams

Unconscious biases cause people to make judgements and take mental shortcuts based on stereotypes about someone’s race, gender, ethnicity, age, disability, or other factors without even realizing it.

Join this session to understand how unconscious bias is revealed, explore the impact that unconscious biases have on everyday interactions and understand the nuances of cross-cultural communications.

This interactive session will also allow you to identify your own unconscious biases and learn how to build relationships by recognizing differences as strengths. Once these differences are identified, you’ll be able to recognize the interpretations one gives them and discover more helpful interpretations.

Presented by Deer Oaks EAP in collaboration with Human Resources as part of the September Well-Being Programs.
