The Teaching Professor Conference and UConn Conference Club

Do you have some experience teaching? Would you like to learn more about course design, assessment, classroom interaction, and supporting students? Are you willing to join a learning community? CETL will sponsor up to 12 UConn instructors to attend the online Teaching Professor conference this fall and participate in a “conference club” with other UConn instructors to share take-aways from the conference over a 3-week period.

To apply, please fill out this form by October 7. Participants will be notified within a week if they will be sponsored.

Dates: The Teaching Professor conference runs from Oct. 25 - Dec. 31. Most sessions are asynchronous, but there are some optional synchronous presentations October 25 - 28.

Who is eligible? Any graduate student, staff, CIRE, adjunct, or tenure line faculty with at least one year of teaching experience. Conference club attendance is required (in person or via WebEx).

When will the conference club take place? Fridays from 12:00 - 1:00 on November 4, 11, and December 2.
