The new NIH Data Management & Sharing (DMS) Policy goes into effect January 25, 2023 and will apply to all NIH funded research (in whole or in part) resulting in scientific data. This new policy would typically apply to research projects, certain career development awards, SBIR/STTR awards and research centers (Rs, Ks, Ps, Us). Training, Fellowship, Construction, Conference and Resource awards (T, F, C06, R13, Gs) would not be impacted by this policy. More information on this policy can be found at sharing.nih.gov
