It’s About Time: Methods for Analyzing Time-to-Event Survival Data

The Center for Quantitative Medicine is offering a biostatistics short course for junior and senior researchers, postdoctoral fellows, predoctoral and post-graduate students, research assistants and associates, clinicians, members of the public health workforce, and others who generate time-to-event data in their research studies. The one-day short course surveys statistical approaches to analyzing survival data which is frequently encountered in biomedical studies and clinical trials.  Through lectures and hands-on computer exercises, the course will provide participants with techniques for analyzing and interpreting survival data using survival curves and Kaplan-Meier estimators of survival functions, as well as regression methods (i.e. Cox proportional hazards regression). Space is limited to 19 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.  Take advantage of the early bird rate before April 25 and save!
