  • Enrolling Participants: Protein Screener Study

Adult Volunteers Wanted for a Research Study

Energy Status and Protein Intake as Prognostic Indicators of Rehabilitative Outcomes (ESPI-PRO)

We are conducting interviews with adults aged 40-70 about our newly developed dietary protein questionnaire. A one time, 60-minute interview will be conducted at the UConn Storrs campus.

Participants will complete and discuss the questionnaire about routine consumption of protein foods in a small group setting.

    Who is eligible?

    • Adults who are 40-70 years old
    • Able to read and write in English

There may not be a direct benefit from this research. However, the interviews will assist us in refining the dietary screener to provide valid information in a future study which will characterize protein intake in orthopedic surgery patients.
