The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to announce an organizational change in Research Integrity and Regulatory Affairs (Research Compliance Services). Karen Moré will serve in the role of Director of Research Compliance—Animal Research and Safety. In this new position, Karen will continue to report to the Associate Vice President for Research Integrity and Regulatory Affairs but will now have cross-campus responsibilities for animal research. She will have operational oversight of animal research (IACUC, IBC, Stem Cell), and animal care (CCM and ACS), and responsible conduct of research for Storrs and regional campuses as well as UConn Health. In addition, Karen will have oversight of Environmental Health and Safety at UConn Health and dotted-line reporting with the EHS at Storrs and regional campuses.
