Dear Students, Nutmeg Publishing is seeking to build our team of writers, and we would love for you to apply. Nutmeg has produced the award-winning UConn yearbook since 1915, and since 2015, a themed magazine. Within Nutmeg, you will work with teams of writers, designers, and photographers on our magazine or yearbook (or both!), helping to preserve UConn's memories and our campus life.
Nutmeg writers are given unique press access to cover landmark UConn events. In the past, these have included UConnic, the President's visit, and March Madness. Writers participate in workshops, trainings, and activities with their team, and are also given the opportunity and resources to work on long-term creative projects. There is much creative and exploratory freedom at Nutmeg, and we welcome diverse applicants and portfolios.
