On Monday, May 23, UConn and UConn Health were honored to welcome the Director of the National Science Foundation, Dr. Sethuraman Panchanathan.
The NSF is a critical funder to many of UConn’s research endeavors. The Director’s visit brought the opportunity to demonstrate the value of the investment in UConn, as well as bring together federal and state officials to give remarks on Connecticut’s role as a leader in science and technology. Additionally, CEOs of major state employers, such as Raytheon and Pratt & Whitney, explained how their companies are partnering with the UConn to build the workforce.
