The Innovation Zone is proudly hosting the UConn Maker Fair on Saturday, April 23rd from 10:00AM - 2:00PM in Werth Residence Tower.
Makers from all across the university will come together to showcase their inventions, artwork, crafts, businesses, and more - come and be inspired by UConn's creativity, and bring a friend!
If you are interested in having a designated area or table to showcase your work at the Maker Fair, please click here and fill out the call for makers form. We encourage all students, faculty, and staff to participate!
In addition to the expo-style showcase, the event will also feature the following:
The UConn Innovation Zone’s Fourth Annual Modified Pinewood Derby will take place at the Maker Fair.
The Innovation House Learning Community will be hosting an Escape Room Challenge during the event.
OPIM Innovate will be onsite conducting Drone Races, Virtual Reality Exploration & other Maker Demonstrations!
Innovation Zone Maker Specialist, Josh Matthias, will lead a Model Rocket Workshop! Space is limited so be sure to register early by clicking here!
