In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Empowered Women Collective and Muslim Student Association are collaborating and working towards their main goal in promoting and creating change amongst underrepresented communities. We strive in combating adversities in society through the ways of donating and volunteering. One of our initiatives this semester partners with the YWCA in hosting a clothes drive for survivors.
We are accepting new undergarments as well as clean and gently used items such as shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, leggings, etc.
Donation boxes will be distributed and made available on both the UConn Hartford and Storrs campuses from Monday, April 4th to Friday, April 22nd.
This will be our final week of the clothing drive. Please donate to the locations listed below.
