Lisa Garcia, Change Management and Security Architect for Student Administration is retiring April 1st.
Lisa started as a developer on the Student Administration system in 2006. Lisa quickly advanced to team lead, overseeing the student financials and financial aid development team. Through numerous retirements and upgrades Lisa became the Change Management and Security team lead. Throughout the pandemic, Lisa played an integral role in the upgrade of PeopleSoft Student Administration to version 9.2. This project moved the University of Connecticut to a modern and stable version of Student Administration.
Lisa’s commitment to customer service and her teammates is second to none. She answers every inquiry with a can-do attitude and has helped lead the team through ups and downs. We will miss having her on the team and are grateful for her dedication. We wish Lisa luck on her future endeavors.
