  • Suicide Prevention & Helping Students in Distress.

    Katie Griffin, Clinical Case Manager in the UConn Stamford Mental Health Resource Center, is offering a training session on Suicide Prevention and Helping Students in Distress. This training is intended to help participants become more aware and prepared to deal effectively with students who are struggling and in distress.

    The Suicide Prevention and Helping Students in Distress training will be held on the following dates:

     

    April 1st at 1:30 pm to 4 pm

    April 5th at 9 am to 11:30am

     

    To Register, please email stamfordmhrc@uconn.edu with your preferred date; there is a limit of 10 persons per training. The training is in person and will be held in room 106 on the UConn Stamford campus. Also, please email us if you are not available to come in person. If enough people reach out, we will make a training virtual
