  • 2/3 BHM Opening Ceremony

    The H. Fred Simon African-American Cultural Center would like to announce our annual Black History Month Opening Ceremony which will be taking place at 6:00pm virtually with Keynote Speaker Attorney Benjamin Crump, who has taken part in high profile cases representing the families of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and Stephon Clark. Our other Keynote speaker is Philonise Floyd, who is the brother of George Floyd. This event is in collaboration with the Black Law Students Association,UConn School of Law, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Rainbow Center, Women's Center, and many others!
