    Location:
online -- link will be emailed to registered participants
    Presenter: Khalilah Arrington, CETL-Faculty Development

Come join us and colleagues for a teaching talk while at the same time, engaging in self-care. These sessions serve as a springboard for discussions around a topic related to teaching and learning but really give you the chance to share the success and challenges you are facing in our current teaching reality. Each session has a topical theme but is shaped by the participants’ discussion, needs, and interests.

    During this session, participants will:

    •  Reflect on the current teaching and learning reality through contemplative practices including mindfulness, somatics and writing prompts
    •  Examine the ongoing significance of the current public health, socio-political, economic, and environmental realities on our lives
    •  Discover some practical examples of trauma informed education
    •  Consider how we want to support our students, colleagues, and ourselves with the evolving process of reentry to campus moving forward
    • Share and discuss what is on your mind
