  • Seeking Human Subjects 65+ y.o. for Paid Study

    65 Years or Older?

    We are seeking participants for a research study that will identify neural pathways associated with well-being in older adults. Participants will complete a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan that will involve viewing several images that may elicit positive, negative, or neutral emotions. Participants will also complete several questionnaires about mood, attentiveness, well-being, and demographics. Participation should take no longer than 1.5 hours, and participants will receive $50. Participants will complete this study in the University of Connecticut’s Brain Imaging Research Center, on UConn’s Storrs campus.

    This study was approved by the UConn IRB, Protocol # H20-0120.

    To be eligible to participate, you must be 65 or older, fluent in English, right-handed, able to lie on your back for 1 hour, have no metal in your body, and have no history of neurological or psychiatric disorder or cognitive impairment.
