  • EcoCaptains Needed - Office of Sustainability

    Do you live on-campus? Are you interested in promoting sustainability amongst your peers?
     
    For the first time ever, the UConn Office of Sustainability (OS) is partnering with Residential Life to offer a paid job opportunity to on-campus residents. Selected EcoCaptains from each residential area will serve as a resource for students and a critical ambassador for the OS. EcoCaptains for the 2021-22 academic year will be paid an hourly rate for 5 hours/week. Duties include:
    • Lead sustainability education and engagement activities in residence halls (such as our annual EcoMadness competition in the month of October)
    • Attend monthly EcoCaptain meetings
    • Conduct weekly recycling audits
    • Distribute Recycling Bags and Sustainability Activity books to residents
    • And much more!
