Make Yourself More Resilient – Key Strategies to Manage Stress

    Recognize the signs of stress:

    • Difficulty concentrating
    • Headaches
    • Cold hands
    • Tight muscles
    • Nervous stomach
    • Clenched teeth
    • Feeling on edge
    • Fidgety
    • Irritable
    • Withdrawn

Address your signs of stress and do the following:

    • Make self-care a daily habit – work in time to exervise, eat healthy foods, participate in relaxing activities and sleep.
    • Stay socially connected – Make an effort to schedule time and activities with your friends and family. This will prevent feelings of isolation.
    • Put on a new perspective - You can view sitting in traffic or around the house as an opportunity to enjoy music, podcasts, or pleasant views.
    • Seek help if you need it - Talk to a health professional if stress is affecting your well-being.
