After more than 50 combined years of expertise, service and dedication to the University community, the Office of the Vice President for Research would like to recognize the milestone of retirement for two of our senior staff supporting the area of Technology Commercialization.

    Donna Cyr (September 1, 2021)

Donna has been a dedicated state employee for more than 20 years, serving as Licensing Director for Engineering and Physical Sciences for the Technology Commercialization Services group.  Over the course of her career at UConn, she has guided countless faculty in pursuit of licensing and patenting of their inventions.

    Gregory Gallo (May 1, 2021)

Retiring earlier this year from his role of Director of Technology Commercialization Services, with more than 33 years of service, Greg Gallo has provided leadership and expertise to the University community in the areas of Technology Commercialization and Technology Incubation.

Please join us in appreciation of the legacy of these two staff, whom we will greatly miss for their mentorship, professionalism and collegiality.
