    Depression Clinical Research Study – Now Enrolling

    Dr. Jayesh Kamath from UConn Health’s Department of Psychiatry is conducting a clinical research study of an investigational medication for adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).

    The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication when it is used as an adjunct treatment in adults with MDD.

    You may be eligible to participate if you:

    • Are 18-74 years of age
    • Have been diagnosed with depression
    • Have taken antidepressant in the past that did not work well for you
    • Are currently taking an antidepressant medication but still have symptoms of depression

    If you are interested, additional eligibility criteria will be assessed by the study doctor or staff.

    Study participation will last up to 12 weeks. In some cases, you may have the option to continue participation for up to an additional 52 weeks.

    Qualified participants may receive investigational study medication and some study-related medical care at no cost. Participants may receive a stipend for completed in-person visits.
