Moving forward in a time of uncertainty: how strategic planning and teacher evaluation can improve schools
Join Morgaen Donaldson, Isobel Stevenson, and Jennie Weiner to discuss and celebrate their recent books, Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Teacher Evaluation: Understanding the Research and Theory (Routledge, 2020) and The Strategy Playbook for Educational Leaders: Principles and Processes (Routledge, 2020). We will begin by sharing the central ideas from our books regarding how district and school leaders can best support teachers and promote a culture of equity and continuous improvement. Susan Moore Johnson, Jerome T. Murphy Research Professor at Harvard Graduate School of Education, will offer brief comments on the presentations before we open the floor for discussion.
