School, Program, and Course Information

  • Interested in translation? Take a summer course

How does an idea travel from one language to another?

What does it mean for a translation to be "faithful"?

How is technology changing the way we think about communication?

Explore these questions and more by enrolling in online courses offered this summer by UConn's Program in Literary Translation. The courses are dedicated to exploring various approaches and techniques for translating literature, and provide an opportunity to try your hand at translating passages of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or drama of your choosing.
